I bought this movie when it was released to video but I forgot I had it. Then I wanted to be in the mood for it, knowing it's gonna be sad. Still haven't watched it. I think I will watch your review first. 😂

It grows and thrives in seemingly adverse conditions, hidden from view until it flourishes. The snake might be the hidden fears and unseen struggles of assimilation and survival the family faces in their pursuit of a better life. Ngl this film made me shed a few tears. I’ve been wanting to watch it but haven’t gotten around to it until now. Overall I liked it, it’s not gonna be an all time favorite movie of mine but I enjoyed it! Some people might definitely find it boring and wait for something big to happen but I‘m one of those people that like things with deep meaning and emotions rather than lots of action. The acting was enough to convince me. This film moved me. Great reaction!
