not to be that person but i can imagine you guys not reacting this strongly to the ordeal if haein was an ugly hag LOL to an extent you do feel this bad for her and not at all for her husband because she has pretty privilege. in a realistic situation if he has been in living hell for the past 3 years slaving away for a rich family and being disrespected at every turn, i can still understand his initial happiness about being 'free' without consequences. i think even in real life he would only start to think about the gravity of her dying later on once he spends some time with her, i think its realistic that his initial reaction (considering he was at his breaking point) is happiness

2024-04-29 03:51:36 +0000 UTCyou and i are probably in the minority. i got up to 3 episodes and quit because i couldn't invest in any of the characters despite liking the actual actors from their past shows. but because i like our 2 reactors, i will watch this show with them and get their perspective. maybe i'll end up liking the show once the ML starts having a change of heart, but man, how do you go back from wishing someone dead, and not just a fleeting thought, but several days of thinking about it?

2024-04-20 11:21:30 +0000 UTCAs a working class human on this planet, I can't relate to all the problems these rich people are having. ๐คฃ๐ Usually they make at least one of them likable so even if you can't relate, you still like them and want them to succeed. But so far this drama has not produced a genuinely nice rich person for me to root for. ๐ The regular folks are not any better. His family sucks. His parents are so so but his sister & brother inlaw are also annoying. He's also so miserable that he's only looking at his freedom regardless of the cost. In a realistic situation I don't blame him. ๐ Right now it's hard for me to root for anyone in this drama, but imma stick with you guys and see this through. If only for the cameos...I've seen some spoilers and pretty excited for those. ๐๐

I know he's had it rough but death is permanent so he shouldn't be happy about her dying. I think he's more so excited about not having to divorce her and leaving "amicably" in that 3 month time period. Both of them have major flaws and I like that about this show.
