It was actually popular during its release. As I remember, it was no 1 movie on Netflix.

Ayy Imo, this movie would've gained a lot more by being adapted as a short tv series (it's originally a webtoon I think). A lot of the aspects of it, like the characterizations, themes and settings, needed time to breathe and be fleshed out. The movie did a good job with Taeho's backstory and motivation, but consequently it's only really him that gets it. In contrast, Sullivan is crazy, has reasonable-ish goals, but should've been the 2nd most fleshed out character as he is the main antagonist. Also, things like the middle with the Black Foxes reveal, the scene shouldn't have to be as long as it was, especially since it was all just an exposition dump. The premise is interesting (def my cup of tea), but it would've benefited so much by showcasing more of its potential depth. I do love the details they took though. Like in the future, we'll all just have universal language translators in our ears. Shit like that is what makes sci-fi so fun! Overall, a good, fun movie, but it was both too long and too short for what it is. I'd give it a solid 7/10 on my scale.

2024-03-23 19:15:34 +0000 UTCOk...this was much better cuz I watched it with your reaction. This is my final thoughts about this movie. I liked the plot but the execution was not very good. The heroes were fabulous of course, but the villain was so silly. Most of the acting from everyone needed so much work. The dialog was corny and silly. It's like they're just reading lines and trying to compensate by being over dramatic. 😂 I feel like this was a blockbuster that got mashed with a B movie and not in a good way. It's a 5 for me.

I just watched it for Kim Taeri, enjoyed her cool moments , as always shocked me with her versatility. But talking about the movie, I was never invested in the plot before. BUT! This time idk what happened but i was really invested and for the first time watched it till the end with enjoyment! Maybe before was not the right time. So I am happy I gave another shot to it. 8,5/10🔥 so thank you for choosing this movie, it was enjoyable to watch it with you!

They're not there yet, with the science fiction stuff. Then again, watching it with you guys can be entertaining even if I didn't like it that much. 🤔😊
