I think the reason a lot of people dislike this show is because it is undoubtedly extremely corny. There are a lot of moments where you cringe and need to look away from the screen. It is unrealistic like many shows but in an obvious way. I hope that makes sense. The best way I can think to explain it is how Moving and All of Us Are Dead are definitely unrealistic but made in a realistic way, where things make sense, whereas this is so OBVIOUSLY and painfully unrealistic. Yet people don't understand that that's exactly what they want to convey. It does not have the best camera shots and angles either. But the reason I love this show so much is because of these very reasons. It's unserious, weird, but a really fun watch. Like one big joke. The icing on the cake is that it has one of the two BIGGEST actors in the Korean industry. And rightfully so. Park Hyungsik and Park Boyoung are so so phenominal. Writing this after watching the intro but before watching the reaction to the episode. I wonder what you guys will think LOL

2024-03-03 05:07:49 +0000 UTCas much as people are allowed to say ' yay! i'm glad a show i like won and they're watching it!', the same are allowed to say 'i wish you would watch something better'. you're right, they both paid for a sub to this channel. which means they're both allowed to express their opinions. it's only the negative ones being called out, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to talk about what they like and don't like. you can't just accept the good an not the bad. i don't understand how this argument can even be made. people are allowed to be unhappy and express it. they're not forcing anyone's hands in watching or not watching a show. again, though, i don't know what comments you're reading that seem so out of touch. unless you're simply blowing 'i don't like this show and i wish something else won' out of proportion. if there are ones that are worse, then i would understand the sentiment of defending the winner and dying on that hill. but again, you said it; both people for and against have paid for this channel. thus both sides are allowed to share their opinions on it.

All of us pay to see these guys watch things, they also give us the option to vote for the next show to watch so we get to participate in picking. We all voted, and this show won, and if the show won, that means people actually enjoyed this show and wanted Harris/Justin to see if they can enjoy it too. Also the spoil comment in the beginning wasn’t that bad cause everyone has seen squid game 😒

I don’t mean to come off as rude but didn’t the people who voted for this show also pay? We all pay and there is a poll for a reason and majority chooses this. Yea people are allowed to be disappointed but what is the point of them having a poll if people are just going to be telling them not to watch what wins? Like how would they like it if whatever they wanted to win did win but others told them not to watch it. That’s my point, theses guys will watch another show soon, it won the poll already so people should deal with it. A simple comment such as “damn I don’t like the show so I don’t know if I’ll be watching though, I’ll look forward to the next poll” :)

2024-03-03 04:01:23 +0000 UTCi was definitely against this show winning. the cringe is a lot. the story is messy. the romance between the leads is the only thing that had me finish it tbh. their chemistry is really great. it's a stacked cast, so i was disappointed when this show wasn't what i thought it would be. that being said, i would consider this show as an 'older show', so i'm not sure what anyone who commented that was talking about. i am also tired of reactors watching the new thing that came out within the last couple years. it honestly gets really tedious to watch so many different reactors just watching the same show over and over because they know the new shiny thing will bring in the numbers. unfortunately they end up missing out on some really special and amazing dramas that came out pre pandemic. if you're thinking of changing up the polls a bit in the future, you may consider doing it by genre, actors work, year of release, adaptations, or even have polls with second place winners or one for all the lowest voted ones. then you're guaranteed to get a decent mix in there. a lot of people will vote for what they like and not necessarily what you actually would like. i've seen some reactors stop shows simply because they were no longer interested in the storyline, or it wasn't pulling in the numbers they wanted. while i understand wanting to cater to your audience, i think it's important to keep a good balance between the two. like this instance, honoring the poll winner but then maybe picking a show yourselves would prefer to try out. also, i would like to recommend not watching trailers for shows as korean trailers tend to ruin surprise plot points and give more away. and pls, pls, stop spoiling things from other shows. mentioning someone sacrificing themselves for another character in another show is a bit.......

It's not mind-blowing but it scratches the every now and then itch for tear-free/just fun watching. I can't really watch back to back heavy drama/topics anyway. In terms of the drama, I actually like the chemistry of the leads but the slapstick comedy was not to my taste. It's nowhere near the worst drama I've seen but it's nowhere near the best either. But I'll watch your reactions to it since I am curious to know how you will rate it.

The new version that came out recently was also so-so. I hope that with you guys, I can enjoy this drama more. 😂🙏🏻

Leading couple chemistry and interactions are the best..give it time. I hope all the naysayers didn’t prejudice you. It’s pretty fantastic and one of my favorites.❤️❤️

It’s not that deep, y’all will watch another k-drama in like less than 2 months or so, so I don’t get why people were freaking out lol. Also it’s not just you guys, this is a common thing I have seen with this show when it wins on a reactors poll, people always freak out and tell them they’ll hate it and the reactors always end up having fun with it lol. I hope y’all have a good time with it as well.
