2024-04-18 12:42:57 +0000 UTCIt’s interesting because when I first watched this show I liked yurim because I can understand her situation. And I thought heedo was okay in parts and a bit mean in some parts and great in some parts too. She just wasn’t really that great of a character for me honestly.

She’s obviously just someone who likes yurim as a whole even though she doesn’t fully know her but it’s so interesting to see all the things she did back then. She really was stalker vibes tho

2024-01-29 00:03:28 +0000 UTCIt’s like Reply 1988 or any of the Korean Reply 19... dramas where there is this one girl and her four or five guy friends that we have to guess who she’ll marry or something along that line. 😅

2024-01-14 21:26:07 +0000 UTCSince you mentioned bts here I just wanna say I’ve been watching a lot of Kdramas since 2010 but I’ve seen this kinda rise in Kdramas where the plot often includes concepts that bts had in their songs so Mir makes me think the writers must have been army or atleast gained inspiration from bts and it’s soo cool to see the change in the Kdrama trajectory

2024-01-13 20:43:21 +0000 UTCGlad to see you guys enjoying this kdrama! I want to recommend a kdrama called 'Love All Play', it's a sport/drama/romance kdrama and I feel like you guys would really enjoy it. As it has very similar vibes to this kdrama, such as the slow-burn, natural plot. Also it's got a great balance of humour and heavy emotional scenes. It's very underrated as not many people have watched it, but I'd recommend maybe putting on the next poll you do! really really recommend it!

2024-01-13 19:18:49 +0000 UTCActresses who play Heedo (Kim Taeri) and Yurim (Bona/Jiyeon) actually learned and trained in fencing and performed all the moves in the drama. Taeri trained for 4 months and Bona trained for 3 months every day. Taeri also said they had competitions outside of the show for fun and she lost many times and that they got very competitive. Bona said Taeri is much more accurate & faster, but she is better in performing tricks. Taeri also kept diary of her fencing which is shown in the drama as Heedo's diary. Bona also said that Taeri was so passionate about it that she showed up at Bona’s place with sandbags attached to her ankles to increase her stamina, like Heedo does in the drama. So both of them worked really hard for their roles. btw Bona is kpop idol from a group called WJSN, if you will be interested you can check them out.

2024-01-13 18:46:50 +0000 UTCI know this is a little random, but since you're mentioning them a great Slice of Life k-drama is the less well known "At A Distance, Spring Is Green" with Park Ji Hoon, the main actor in Weak Hero 1 (and 2 coming) and his character is so different, but there are definitely surprises. It's just an easy watch (with some dramatic things) about college life and realising how different people can be under the surface. It's also only 12 episodes and they're not the 1.5 hour ones. I'd add it to your polls! Park Ji Hoon also just got cast as the main character in "Bastard" by the creator of "Sweet Home", so that's going to be huge.
