Coming to CK in 2017: [FOR PATRON EYES ONLY]

I've now completed enough work behind the scenes that I can give you an exclusive reveal of why CK has been so quiet for the last weeks.

I'll be launching The Crushing Comics Definitive Guide to DC Comics with six pages in January (...and, to ≥ $3.99 Patrons in just 10 days)!

I'm still working feverishly on these pages, should take just under 100hrs to complete. I just finished detailing every series from the New 52 era, which took over 30hrs and is already the highest word-count page on all of CK before adding any links.

More DC hero and team pages will follow throughout 2017. I've already mapped and initiated more than 100 pages to cover the full scope of the DC Universe.

(That is totally unlike my approach to the Marvel Universe, which involved bolting on a new page to the guide whenever I realized I might need one.)

In the longer term, I am considering making some specific DC hero pages may be Patron-only for a longer period of time to all levels of Patrons.

As a purely hypothetical example, there might be a "Batman by Morrison" page available to all readers that says, "Want access to a complete, definitive guide to Batman titles? Pledge as little as $1.99 a month." My ≥ $3.99 Patrons would then get their customary preview of the Definitive Batman, followed by it becoming available to all Patrons ≥ $1.99.
