Like BYJ said he desperately wants to take back time, the drama takes you back truly to a time where you had no worries or worried about little things during your youth. Also personally the drama has one the best dialogue exchanges, the writing is beautiful so I hope both y’all at times take in what’s being said so it’s not missed and everyone can agree that Kim Taeri’s acting is top tier, her mannerism and emotions are all there.

Not sure if you guys know, but that last song that plays when they play by the water fountain is called "twenty five twenty one" by the korean band jaurim. This kdrama is based off of this song. I wont say anything else which could be seen as a spoiler lol. But seeing hee do tell yijin its okay to be happy when its just them two alone is one of the most heartwarming scenes. Really glad you guys are enjoying this show.

2024-01-07 17:30:13 +0000 UTCKim Tae Ri is an amazing actress. To portray a character like that when she was already in her 30’s when this was filmed is crazy. She actually won Best Actress for this from the most prestigious awarding body, the equivalent of Emmy’s for us. So happy you both are digging this kind of drama. Some people like you said are turned off by the quiet moments, thinking nothing is happening, when really I live for these moments. There is another actress that I love who has portrayed a high schooler like this that is also really good, Kim Go Eun in Goblin. They have the same infectious optimism that makes you just smile and root for them. Hope you watch it someday.

Imo, the reason why Heedo works so well in this show is because Kim Taeri shows so much earnestness just like an anime protagonist but there isn't an ounce of corniness or pretense; it just feels so sincere and that's what makes it so endearing I think.
