2023-10-27 22:45:52 +0000 UTCPlease check out The Ballerina, a recent Netflix crime/action movie that's been getting a lot of hype. It has a female lead and the action was impressive. It reminded me a lot of The Villainess, another movie I recommend though it's older and more of a cult classic hidden gem.

2023-10-27 20:28:41 +0000 UTCSorry for the trauma... ^^' lol That movie left me bawling my eyes out, like there's no hope whatsoever in that ending. But I guess that's why it's one of my favorite movies, it left such a strong impression.

2023-10-27 20:07:48 +0000 UTCOmg what a nice surprise, this is my favorite movie! Not sure if you got the context but the doctor desperately needed the money because of the IMF crisis that hit South Korea in late 1997. I think it was in November and it was said that he signed up for all those insurances for his wife a month prior to the murder which took place in December. Of course I'm not excusing his actions but this is his reason. It also looked like Jinseok had work when the financial crisis was announced so he was most likely laid off which is why he had to beg for a job or other means to make money basically everywhere. Once again, not excusing his actions, like you said he made a decision that he should not have made. Also when Jinseok went to that place where you thought he was trying to arrange an illegal surgery for his brother that's not what was happening, he tried to sell his own organs to make money but they turned him away. That jumpscare that almost gave you a heart attack most likely was the woman or the girl he killed, I would have to look at it again to say for sure. I remember when I showed my sister this movie after watching it on my own when it came out, she got VERY scared by that scene 😂 About your issue with the books I keep almost all of mine. I love to read. Like you said it’s kind of a collection that I’m proud of. I don’t really read them multiple times but I just like having them. If I didn’t like a book I might give it away after a while but that’s it.
