Don't get me wrong, I also acknowledge that The Glory is a masterpiece thats why this is my 4th rewatch and I admit I was triggered because Business Proposal was the reason why I became a kdrama fan and I also want to defend Harris. I guess some people just want to enjoy and arent as intellectual as you are. I'll stop here as well. Enjoy your day!

Haha, thank you so much for dragging me down to the level of jealous drama fan war, although I didn't say a single bad thing about "Business Proposal", and even said I also enjoyed it a lot. And for the record, I enjoyed "Uncanny Counter" a lot, and am very excited for season 2 - even though I don't need you to understand where I stand. Masterpieces exist in every genre. And I DO believe "The Glory" is one of them, regardless of its genre. If you can't discern the level of writing, storytelling, and directing that transcends the notion of which genre a drama belongs to, then I have nothing more to say except "Sorry for triggering."

I also remembered that Harris is also down bad for Yeaji but he had a low rating for Lawless Lawyer, 7.5 iirc.

I won't be surprised if they also rate Uncanny Counter with 9 or more not just because of Harris' love for Sejeong but because it's a good show especially if you're into animes and multi genred shows. It has the highest rated drama in OCN history despite the small budget. People had been demanding for season 2 for the past 3 years even if they didnt need one. Let's not underestimate good shows just because your favorite one didnt get a perfect rating.

Thats his preference though, and even Justin who is always rational and non biased rated Business Proposal with 9, same level with The Glory. As far as I can remember. It can be dark and depressing to some people. Personally I loved The Glory too but it's also a 9 for me because the 2nd half kinda lost its momentum. I know that her revenge was perfect, that was her goal and she didnt get her hands dirty but I expected more and I know a lot of people who felt the same. I'm sad that some people underestimates Business Proposal just because of the genre. Not all actors has the talent for comedic timing. But oh well, cant blame you guys because the romcom genre is on a lower level technically speaking when it comes to those award shows.

Dude Reborn Rich is boring af. I suggest Bloodhounds instead of it as the 2nd drama after Flower of Evil. It only has 8 episodes and it's a bomb. Once it's done, you can replace it with Uncanny Counter S2 which is looking even more dope with the individual trailers for each main characters and villains.

yup, i usually set the volume at -15db but i can try -10 for the next ones and see if it is ok. I just dont want our voices to be quiet

Give it up for the best revenge couple. This show is amazing. Definitely added to my top 20 of shows I've seen lol. It was fun rewatching this with you guys. Also, I wasn't surprised to see that Dong Eun was gonna off herself because she's such a broken person. She lived just for her revenge and didn't want to be alive anymore after she achieved her goal. I'm glad the show didn't go that way though because it really could've knowing these kdramas lol. Excited for flower of evil. Also just like the comment above mentioned, reborn rich has a lot of talking about Korean history. And talking in general. Lol. Hope y'all are okay with that. I would like to add bloodhounds to your list. 8 episodes and it's hot right now. PS - can you please turn the volume up for the show? I couldn't even hear some parts lol

The dialogues that some of the characters had was fire 🔥 I think cause the show involve bullying and some part was kinda sad to watch for them while Business proposal was more of romcom and it was the drama that introduce Sejeong to Harris which why might have higher rating. But for me, The Glory is definitely the better show.

Don't get me wrong - it's still a really fun drama to watch (at least for 2/3 of it). Just that the basic understanding of modern Korean history kinda enhances the viewing.

Agree, there's was a big hype about this show but never actually got to watch it cause I remember that it deals with history stuff and it has a similar genre to Flower of Evil.

You guys had me dead with the conversation from 48:00 😂, when Dong Eun came back. Harris would simp for the Queen but Justin would be a little mad. Awesome you guys check out this show, and agree it's definitely a 9/10 show for me. See you for the next cycle also pretty sure we'll be seeing Jae Jun actor again since he's one of the cast for Squid Game 2.

I think for the 2nd show for the next cycle, I would recommend a shorter drama since you guys are waiting for uncanny counter 2. Two short dramas you can watch are Bloodhounds(8 episodes), it's about 2 boxer friends who teamed up to take down a loan shark. The other one is Duty After School(10 episodes, 1st part has 6 ep and 2nd part has 4 ep), its about a group of students who takes on a military course training while also fighting against alien/monster creatures, its somewhat similar to All of Us are Dead with alien instead of zombies. Both are really good, hope you can check it out.

My theory- the entire movie when the revenge phase was in play the scenes were pretty gloomy, dark and post revenge phase was you could see her in bright light, bright colors, even tattoo for that matter. Hence, The cloud could be indicative of the fact that it's getting gloomy again which means the revenge is in the play. But overall it's always fun to watch along shows with you guys. I had seen this earlier but watching it again with your reaction felt like i was experiencing this show all over again. Excited for Flower of Evil, i am sure you'll love it and harris will have new queen up on the list.
