Speaking of kpop, I wish you guys were more into kpop lol. The royal chef was low-key singing a very popular kpop track when he gave whatever that wrapped thingy was to Court Lady Choi😂😂 I won’t excuse the cliché ‘knew each other as kids’ kdrama trope lol, but I’ll just say that all their parents knew each other and most likely saw each other every day at the palace or king’s court….so it makes sense that the kids crossed each others paths at one point The term translated to brother (Orabeoni) is the Joseon version of the modern day ‘oppa’., which can be used for an older brother, close relative or friend. So, yep…that was her cousin, Byeong in.

The comedy,..the king and queen’s “mukbang”(😏) at the beginning,…their hilarious market “date”, the flashback at the end,…very well written, well paced and the big reveal at the end,…very satisfying. The king and queen are matching each other’s energy now haha. The No Touch contract is slowly getting broken. ‘Forget No Touch today!’ hahaha…I swear that’s my favourite line in this show. ‘I’m your Anti-fan’ a close second

Lol hwa jin is a fraud, that's why the queen was so hurt and wanted to kill herself because her own identity was stolen and the person she loved (the king) thought she was a trash person and didn't recognize her. Let's not forget her evil family lol. This episode is one of my faves tho when she defends him 😂 and the run away and come back scene haha. Comedic gold! Almost to the halfway point and the second half is way better imo!
