Next K-Drama

We're probably going to follow the Poll for our next show, so we can be fair to the people who voted. After that we'll look into some different genres. We'll try to bring some more variety and potentially introduce something new.

2022-02-26 22:37:33 +0000 UTCFirst I would strongly suggest to go with something different to your previous k-dramas bringing some variety. You had dark, depressing, serious and gritty shows with Squid Game, My Name, All Of Us Are Dead and Kingdom (still running). So please no Hellbound or Sweet Home at this point. You can do these later but for now you should switch it up a bit, especially since it will run parallel to Kingdom which already fills that niche. From the listed K-Dramas (all are good!) I would very strongly prefer "It's Okay To Not Be Okay". It is the perfect introduction to all the elements more typical K-Dramas have and it is perfect for reactions (therefor very popular among other K-Drama reactors as entry into this world). It is from your candidates the highest ranked show on "top shows (of all time)" (#12) as well as on "most popular shows" (#19). It also has the highest audience rating (9.0). Vincenco has the same rating but is ranked lower on the charts (see MyDramaList.com, the biggest and most well known site for rating, reviewing and discussing asian shows and movies). So why not start with the best ranked and rated show? The other shows can come later. One final word: Polls like this are good for a baseline understanding what your current community wants, but in the end you have to make the decision yourself. Of course the current community will like similar things as the ones you are already have done (they came here for that content after all). But you shouldn't forget that you also want to grow the community or (from time to time) should introduce something new to your community.
