I'm not sure if you are aware but for helpful notes, the reason no one steps up to choose Pang's side at that moment was due to Wave's advice. According to the Manga or comics version, there was supposed to be a scene where Wave told all the Gifted not to choose Pang's side when director Supot asked, because their memory will be erased once they do. Also, Namtaarn made Mon(super strength) and Korn(sleepless) remember their memory as a Gifted and due to it retrieving how to use their potentials. All the Gifted let Pang to be the only one with erased memory so he is the only problem. Also their reason is So that once he comes back, he will lead them. Also, if you did not notice, in this season 1, some of them already advanced their potentials, but not all. Namtaarn, as I said from the Manga, he can now show and let people remember of their past, but it was not shown. Ohm cannow make himself and someone else invisible, Wave has now a higher capability of hacking since the computer he used on prev episode to shutdown the school, that computer was used to develop the highest software they can for anti-hacking, Punn's personalities can now exchange with him to fight, he will not be easy to be put fully unconscious nor to be incapacitated. For the others, I WILL NOT SPOIL. You will get chills at the advancements of their potential in The Gifted Graduation. Some will still advance and improve further even they already did in season 1, and some will advance the first time.
