2022-01-23 03:57:09 +0000 UTCAbengane's Conjuration abilities come with conditions, if you check that scene again as he describes it, and with all the voodoo stuff he had to do first, "forest spirits" and what not. Some of that stuff may not be "real" but what matters in Nen as Bisky said is that it feels right to you. Beliefs, instincts, personality, stuff that make up You, are a strong influence on the abilities you eventually develop. At least if you want those abilities to be anywhere near powerful. Because your Hatsu is an expression of your Nen, which is fueled by aura, your life energy, which is very much coloured by You. So you want to follow the grain of You when you develop your Hatsu/abilities for maximal success and sync. Hence, Gon's bit-childish Rock-Paper-Sci, cos he loves the game and is pretty good at it. Or Hisoka's jizz-ass aura with all those properties. You'll also notice Abengane's surprise at its size, and how he concluded the Bomber's Countdown ability must be a powerful one. So it seems he didn't exactly Conjure it himself, he just offered up a plea to remove the Nen on him and an appropriate beast was shat out by his ritual. Which also means each beast is specific to each exorcism.
