If you go back to episode 1, you will notice that Pang touched Nat (and there was heartbeat sound in the background) and said stop talking to me when they were having that fight in the teacher's office. That is why Nat did not to Pang till this episode. Also, before they started talking, Pang grabbed Nat's wrist and said "why can't we just talk it through".
