A Rose in Darkness

A dancer twirls with rose petals spraying,
Her body is a canvas, tattoos painting tales untold,
As she hangs from the rope, her spirit bold.
The darkness swirls around her like a cloak,
But it cannot hide her beauty or her stroke.
With every twist and turn, she finds her place,
In this world of fantasy where time is space.
And though she's bound by ropes that hold tight,
Her spirit soars beyond the darkest night.
For in this dance, there's freedom found,
In the swing of hips, a soundless bound.
So let her sway and twirl,
A flower blooming with unfurled petals curled.
And may we all find in our hearts this sight,
The beauty that comes from being caught in the light.
