CLIP: A couple of Gifs

Hello again! I'm posting again! I'm gonna dump a bunch of stuff on you this weekend to make up for my slight absence.

First post: Here's a handful of shots that have been colored for the upcoming video! As you can see, things are going well.

Actually... I've just about finished all the animation I need to do for this video. It's coming out NEXT WEEK. No, for real! It is!! NEXT WEEK! Think of that!

You might recall me posting that I was feeling a bit overwhelmed with this video. Life has been SO BUSY for me lately, and I was balancing so many things on my head. And this video's deadline was coming up so soon! Thankfully it did get pushed back.

More than that, though, I've gotten a LOT of extra help on this one. Dranzer is my usual co-animator, and I want to say he's actually animated most of the scenes here. Another Mashed animator, Brandon, was brought on too. He's someone I've never worked with before, but was really enthusiastic to be working with me and matched my style really well. He's doing rough animation, and we have cleanup artist Jenny on the job too.

The reason we brought on all this help was to get this short out in good time. I've actually been shifted to finishing the animatic for part 2. I was going to animate more scenes, but it was decided that since I'm the only one who is handling storyboards and really general animation direction, it would be wiser for me to move on to that.

Basically, this is going to be a video I nearly fully storyboarded, but nearly fully didn't animate. I have full confidence in the team! It's maybe a slight bummer that I won't be doing as much animation on this as I had wanted, but between so many trips I've been on and other projects and also a decently loaded school semester, I'm actually severely relieved that we figured something out to get this released in a timely manner.

This video's gonna be a blast. Part 1 comes out next week! Like I said, I'm finishing up boards for part 2 as well, so I'll make a post showing off more of that. Until then!
