How Shibari Art works with the photographer perspective
Added 2022-09-16 08:15:25 +0000 UTCI am photographer shooting the Shibari suspension scene. If silk, hoop and etc are acrobatic, I am just using ropes. The model and I are partners with a different skills. I provide the rope ties such that model can hang herself in the air. The model is the one leveraging my ties to performance the acrobat. Via the ties, I leverage the model skills (poses) to create the art together. It is a team work. In this example, the way I tied it would introduce a 90% torsion. How the model - Emily Bee to make her pose was totally her own discretion. This is the excitement because I never know what is the outcome. My home studio is @bayareaphotoart
