drawing dedede is hard

Here is a comparison between how i'd draw dedede at the start of this project vs. how i was drawing him by the end of it. the differences are subtle but make a huge impact. dedede is by far the most difficult of the main cast to draw well, even i struggle with it. but the more frames of him i draw, the better grasp on it i get. Here, the trick was making the eyes and pupils smaller and making the upper half of his beak thicker.
(OH yeah and as for progress on the video: i've got like 5 seconds left!! it's definitely going to be uploaded at least to patreon this week)
