My Grand Return: An Important Update

Hello patrons. I'd like to apologize for the lack of Patreon updates recently! The last thing I'd want to do is make you feel like I'm just taking your money and not giving much in return, so I'd like to thank all of my paintrons very dearly for just liking me enough to chip in no matter what. I'd like to make it clear that, if you don't feel like it's worth giving me money anymore, please, don't feel obligated to continue doing so. I'm fortunate enough to be living a very stable life, currently, so my life wouldn't come crashing down all at once or anything. But, still, I do very much appreciate it!

If you watched my most recent update video, you'd know that I've been taking a Holiday Season Break from working on animations. That was going well, got to enjoy time off from school, Christmas celebrations with my mother, and a recent trip to Morocco with my father. Now that I'm back home from my trip, with school not starting for another week and no special holiday festivities to focus on, I feel like I should be back on track with animating. It's what I do best, after all!

However, that hasn't been working out so far. I only recently started somewhat seriously drawing at all again, but the thought of working on this video I've had in production for a few months now (Birthday Dodecagon 6) has only brought me anxiety and a haze of dysfunction. There's a few conclusions I've come to. I've been working on one thing for way too long, I'm not extremely proud of a lot of said work, and I still have quite a bit more to go if I want to finish it. So, for now, I'm going to stop working on it. I really wanted to get it done, as these birthday videos are a tradition for me, but I realized that if it's not even making ME happy to be working on it, then it probably just isn't worth it, for now at least. 

I'm now officially deciding to shift gears to work on things that I know will make both you, my loyal peabrains, happy, as well as myself. Hopefully, once I've gotten back into the groove of things and readjusted myself to what it feels like to make something I'm proud of, I can return to Birthday Dodecagon and not leave my hard work in the dust. BD is an almost completely self-indulgent project for me, after all, since they don't get even close to as many views as my Kirby shorts, so I'd rather it not feel like a chore.

Anyway... That's all I have to say for now! Thank you again to all my supporters, both those who simply subscribe to my channel to watch funny videos and those who decide to give out of their own pocket for me. It helps me out a ton. Hopefully my next video will be within the next month!
