Digital [Big Batch] Cratediggin' With OuB [Day 18]

Good day everyone!
Today we get another batch of goodies inside this one. As always - some are rare, some not so much but together they take you to a solid aural escapade. Sub-genres are as always... I guess East Coast classics and contemporaries are predominant, but other gems from other geographical locations can be found here. So let's start with the nominations.
1) When you have 60+ items, it's hard to just highlight a few, but that's what I do (haha). If we talk about those Funk legends that have been sampled in many notable rap tracks and in many ways indirectly contributed to the rise of hip-hop sound, there's one name that does not get enough mention. That's CAPTAIN SKY. Man released 3 iconic albums from 1978-1980 that were close to P-Funk and electro-funk (remember, that electro-funk was not a thing until few years later). His most notable single was heavily sampled Super Sporm from his debut LP. Sampled by rap legends such as De La Soul, Public Enemy, Boogie Down Productions, MC Shan, Salt-N-Pepa, this track is an underground funk classic.
Being named a 'poor man's Bootsy Collins' (I hate such comparisons), Sky's albums did not pop up in the discussions much frequent to get a solid CD reissue. Not until this year, when the record label from Captain's native Chi-Town, gave a proper CD (on LP as well btw) reissue to his debut and sophomore classics. Here you can bandcamp both those and few other goodies if interested.
2) Second nomination is D.I.T.C. Yeah, I guess you know what I'm talking about. Diggin' In The Crates is my favourite term of an ideal supergroup. Actually I think the photo of D.I.T.C. should be added to the term entry in any English dictionary. Or at least the one should accompany your search results when you enter the words 'rap supergroup' via Google. Try and enter these words yourself and click 'images', haha. I didn't get any D.I.T.C. photos there (none of another great underground rap supergroup Boot Camp Click as well). Nonetheless, when you remember the all star lineup these guys have (or had) - Lord Finesse, Diamond D, Big L, O.C., Fat Joe, Buckwild, Showbiz and A.G, you get many great memories on those unforgettable 90's underground albums. In this batch you will get numerous releases including their self-titled 2000 album which was released in between '97-1999, and released posthumously after Big L's death. That album is fat. I have spent many good days listening to it. And I dig when any of them drop new material, no matter it being fresh stuff of their solos or collaborative material.
3) Aaargh, the last nomination already - this one is hard between Wu-Fam's solid Killarmy, Wise Intelligent (of Poor Righteous Teachers), Paula Perry unreleased album, and numerous underground rap gems that you might not have heard about. Still, to keep it more heterogeneous, I will go with the Nottingham, UK native Styly Cee. I have covered his stuff already (in a shape of parody MC Pitman, and as a group member of Lost Island). Nottz rap scene has been of utter importance in the shaping of UK hip-hop since late 80's- early 90's. Styly Cee, a multitalented emcee and DJ has been in the vanguard of establishing it. He has worked with numerous Nottz artists (e.g. Cappo, C-Mone, Midnyte, Scorzayzee) within the classic record label SON RECORDS. And has kept it underground since then (maybe a bit except that comical creation of Pitman). If you don't know this man, you should listen to some of his stuff. His contribution to the UK rap scene cannot be denied, and deserves more mention. Start with this youtube track.
