Ridill Arondite

HP 30

Blue - [Alien Intelligence] - 3

Black - [I I] - 3

White - [H H] - 3

Strategist

Class

Ridill calls this class strategist, but her methodology better matches a rogue or other underhanded opportunist. She, however, insists such tactics are a composite of Ciallan warmaster teachings, Exulansis training expertise as well as the grit and determination she’s gained by working with OPIA. Ace told her to cheat, something that she has clearly taken in stride.

Level 1

Serene Consideration (Cheating): At the beginning of your turn gain Boost if you did not Ignite after the end of your previous turn.

Opening the Door: Gain the following Ignite abilities:

Opening: Roll to Do to counterattack a target that has already rolled. This can be any roll, even those that do not involve you so long as you have the capability of counterattack. Your attack triggers after the current action resolves. You roll vs. the target’s initial roll. If it was a Roll to Do, you deal damage if your roll exceeds theirs. This is not a clash. You may not use this ability if the target’s color matches yours.

Closing: Roll to Dye vs a target that has already rolled. If this roll had a target other than the individual who triggered this roll, change the target of the triggering roll to you, then Roll to Dye as normal against the value of the triggering roll. If you roll higher than the triggering roll, you may choose to negate the triggering roll and any subsequent rolls. If you roll lower than the triggering roll, the target may choose whether or not to add you to the list of targets, make you the sole target of the triggering roll, or ignore you entirely. You may not use this ability if the target’s color matches yours.

Level Up: 100xp or win a major victory against your enemy

Isolation

ESP

The name implies distance, a remote observance granted to those on the far edge of space. But certain things can only be discovered in Isolation.

Level 1 (Beginner)

Removal: Ridill can remove Gifts, curses, Reflections, you name it by paying an appropriate amount of XP.

Isolation Field: Roll to Do or Roll to Dye to create a field of isolated space. Gains size for higher rolls. Starts at a 10’ radius, gains +5 feet for every 5 beyond 10 rolled. Cuts off all forms of communication to the outside, as well as all ESP not allowed by the wielder. In the Isolation Field, movement is instantaneous, and the number of spaces moved is not counted against the total number of spaces you can move per turn. Others can roll to overcome your circle, and roll against the roll used to spawn your field.

Level 2 (Intermediate)

Enclave Shielding: While within your ESP, you cannot be possessed, you cannot lose flame, your flame will not return to the flame of creation, and all effects from terrain and the environment do not apply.

Retargetting: Whenever a ranged attack misses a target within your Isolation Field, you may, once, choose a new target for the attack and force the attacker to reroll with the new target in mind.

Level 3 (Advanced)

Personal Field: You can create an Isolation Field around yourself at any time. Doing so dispels any other Isolation Fields active. This grants you the benefits granted by Isolation Field, but you are the only beneficiary. You gain a 50’ teleport that can be combined with any Roll to Dye or Roll to Do and does not count as or against your movement. If you summon an Isolation Field, this ability immediately stops functioning until it is used again.

Void’s Beloved: You may add a 1d6 bonus to any Rolls to Dye performed within your ESP.

Level 4 (Expert)

Denial: You no longer roll to determine whether or not others can pierce your ESP. You choose what does or does not penetrate your Isolation. Additionally you can disable the effects of Reflections within your ESP.

Snap Summoning: Ignite to instantly summon an Isolation Field as per the ability. Roll to Do or Roll to Dye as normal without consuming an action.

Level Up: 500xp or best a tormented

Ascending Hope

Bond Ace and Willow

She’ll never say how much those words meant to her. It’s hard to read her, as always, but you could tell by the slightest twitch she’ll never forget that moment.

Level 1

Ascending Hope: Immediately unwound an attribute and Roll to Recover, or gain Boost x3. You may not use this ability again until you raise your Bond level.

Level Up: Use this ability three times

Starcrossed

Bond Treble

Thank you.

Level 1

Starcrossed: Ridill may share Boost with Treble as if it were her own and visa versa. If you Roll to Sync you automatically succeed. When taking the Support action, if Ridill targets Treble or Treble targets Ridill, they may follow up with any normal action after their target has made use of their support dice.

Level Up: Say what you couldn’t the last time

Staff

Weapon

She’s staring at you. She’s staring at the fact that you’re looking really close at that staff of hers. “It’s an ordinary staff” she says, “very normal.” You don’t believe her. You don’t believe her because she’s shown it’s anything but. However, that look in her eyes tells you at least for now she will insist on this lie until you stop bugging her.

Level 1

Normal Staff: This staff contains a miniature distortion in space, capable of storing a regular sized closet’s worth of goods.

There is Nothing Unusual: This staff can be dismissed and recalled freely from its pocket space, allowing easy transport.

An Ability Like This Is Nice: Whenever you pull something from the staff you may replace this Gift with a Gift associated with any piece of equipment pulled from the staff.

Level Up: 50xp or learn the staff’s backstory, or be trusted fully with its contents.
