Reflection Character Reveal: Aura Pridwyn

The towering Sylt Islands, large whitestone pillars that pierce the rock shelf of the Sylt sea are less islands and more water-bound mountains. Atop each of these spires rest large settlements, brilliant multicolored cities that carve the sky apart with spotlights turned skyward. During the great wars the areas around the islands became pockmarked with fallen shells from distant artillery and the old stone edifices were pulverized into alabaster dust.

As a result, the Sylt Islands hold a dual identity. They are both an eternal reminder of war similar to the Gravnir lowlands but also an idyllic pinnacle of beauty like distant Cialla. Each island has its own culture and lifestyle but all share a similar push towards war recovery and the cause of environmental conservation.

Aura Pridwyn has spent the majority of his life studying ESP, biology and environmental sciences in an effort to become a trained ESPer assigned to environmental recovery. Over half the world's population of ESPers are dedicated to the cause of restoring nature's beauty and he wished to join them in fixing the Sylt Islands. After years of study he was tested and discovered to possess Anima Variant 8: Analysis, one of the more useful psychic abilities that could be granted from the list of 10 caused by the ESP-inducing pharmacy.

Aura has spent the last few years working island to island rebuilding the world itself alongside a team of ESPers, and was selected specifically for FLOW not due to his fame or reputation but due to his raw talent and experience.

He joins Flow wave 2 ranked #6, second to last above Ridill not due to a lack of qualification. In terms of raw scores on fitness, tactical response as well as mental evaluation he is ranked first or second. However, he suffers in the same area as Ridill: when it comes to his knowledge of history and politics, he knows the history of his bombarded homeland which directly contradicts the history GEIST writes in its corporate branded books.

Aura was brought onto the team specifically because of his personal aptitude and the importance of having at least one ESPer with analysis anima on the squad. He has since ceased his normal regimen of pills and allowed his anima to fade hoping that whatever Reflection he gets will grant him the same abilities the pharmacy unlocked.

Ah, and he's a card game enthusiast.

The author lacked a smooth way to move over to this point but I think it's important to register/recognize exactly how much Aura loves the cardgame minigame of this particular RPG. 

Aura's a little cocky and plays a very un-meta deck that is dedicated to his personal favorite character and swears absolute vengeance and destruction on anyone who has the audacity to call his character-of-choice mid.

A man with years of experience who is extremely cool, reliable and talented and knows it. Someone who will absolutely sit in the middle of your group thinking, "heh, these kids have a long way to go before they catch up to my level of cool" while wearing a gigantic, multicolor print shirt of his favorite character. 

He pulls all of this off flawlessly.
