Reading
Added 2024-11-27 19:47:15 +0000 UTCI can get pretty Obsessive-Compulsive at times. I have not been officially diagnosed, but I can definitely see it in myself on occasion. For instance, I got a little bored with Twitch, YT, and what not last week. So I thought to myself that maybe I should do some reading. I have always really enjoyed reading, and I don't do enough of it.
So I started re-reading the Paladin of Shadows series last week. It contains some very offensive material, but I feel like the author presents it as best he can and I enjoy the series despite the darker parts of the story.
I took my time and was just doing it to relax.
However...
I then read the first 4 books of the Dresden Files in the last two days...
Well, re-read them. I think this is my third time through?
If you like supernatural mystery/thrillers, then I highly recommend the Dresden Files. I heard they did a TV series based on Harry Dresden, the main character, but I never tracked it down to watch it.
I have no clue if it's even any good.

Watched it many years ago, never read the books John Ringo is quite the storyteller but yes, he goes to some very weird places with his stories at times. Have you read his other series? Legacy of the Aldenata is phenominal. Probably my favourite military sci-fi series of all time Black Tide Rising is similarly my favourite apocalypse series
