Added 2018-01-26 19:53:25 +0000 UTCA generally gentle animal that exists only to mine for various substances, which it carries in a flexible stomach. A central beak and a spade-like claw breaks through softer rock or hardened clays, and sensitive tentacles sort through the rubble.
Normally not great at fighting due to their stubby and not-terribly-well-developed back legs and complete lack of eyesight, but sometimes duty calls!

The Processor is petty and sending whatever was nearby and free to use as an impromptu weapon. These things are fairly passive background processes, so they can be freed up to go attack some interlopers when needed (but yes it's quite possible that more efficient combat animals are on the way)

Limited resources, opening salvo of a grand strategy or just that Bex has already killed at least one of all the other potential candidates?
