October wallpaper thread
Added 2015-10-08 04:30:05 +0000 UTCIt's either gonna be MI or TM on this wallpaper... THOUGHTS? Suggestions?? Feel free to comment! Or, if you see a comment/ suggestion that you like, just "like" it and I'll stare at it intently because it is useful feedback.
There is also the possibility that I ignore everything and make something crazy that I think you'll like. GUESS WE'LL FIND OUT

I was looking at the old Dagre wallpaper and wondering why I put that ugly gradient on the side, then I tested it out and remembered how much better it functioned that way, haha.

2015-10-08 15:06:38 +0000 UTCAnother artist (ABBADON from Kill 6 Billion Demons) did a Patron wallpaper with a style I liked: the field of the wallpaper was mostly a solid color, with characters in a corner / side. That gives me real estate for my desktop clutter while still enjoying the art.

I often find that if there's too much going on in a wallpaper I can't use it for more than a few days even if I love the art. You're probably the last person I need to tell that as the old wallpapers were soooo great in this regard - I used both the Luca and the Soli wallpaper quite a while and loved them, as they had great colors and enough 'calm' areas so that my desktop did not appear cluttered. That said, I could picture a MI wallpaper with a sweeping view of the caves and some really weird wildlife lurking in the edges... :-)
