Briareos and Deunan, ESWAT team members and many, many landmates and terrorists from Appleseed. The biker gangs of Akira. Various cyborgs from Gunm. The various characters and vehicles from Silent Mobius. And the miniatures industry has a long, proud tradition of doing anime knockoffs. I have metal minis of all the Knight Sabers, three boomers, half the Silent Mobius police team, and Kaneda's motorcycle I bought back in the 1990's. And resin casting of the Blade Runner police spinner.

Sync went from fine and dependable to unreliable very quickly as a response to the pandemic. That said, Cast N Play seems to be doing alright with Dropbox. Is it just prohibitively expensive?

So far you are the only creator that can be frustrating when it comes to downloading. Sometimes, if I want to download the entire folder, the site cannot even calculate and create the archive. Google has a very good method to do this, maybe you guys should start using it. It is one of the best offers out there. 100 GB storage, and at a such low price, that it feels like you're ripping them off.

I backed Dragonbond on kickstarter and they developed their own site just for delivering their files and since the amount of people using it was much smaller than say Sync the downloads were very fast and smooth. Just an option I'd put out there for you guys to consider.

On the otherhand, the IT team at Sync really looks like that they have no clue about the service they claim to provide: takes me up to 15 seconds to start downloading a single file (not talking about their on-the-fly zip creation) at less than 100kB/s, they never use cache to provide quicker access to files, etc. I would be willing to work with them for free if it could increase their quality level...

2020-10-02 11:05:29 +0000 UTCThis month package looks awesome!! That said... Downloads from sync.com are extremely slow. As timberwolfl commented, downloads from itch.io would be nice. Although is videogame-focused, it's a great platform to host downloads. Also WeTransfer Pro, which allows up to 20GB downloads and password protected for 120$/year (so... $10 per month). Other nice (and cheap) options with fast downloads, password option and good encryption would be Mega, Google Drive and OneDrive. I'm really happy with this Patreon and its miniatures, but download speed looks like 2000's, so I would like to provide some feedback about that issue :D

2020-10-02 11:03:07 +0000 UTCOK, so I have to agree with many things here: Sync still sucks. As do MMF when there is a "huge" amount of clients trying to download. Using Lychee if fine and fun too. And YES, itch.io went very smooth for another Patreon and is also a way to keep models safe for your patrons. Could you try to contact them to see if they could help you out?
