Scene 1 - Reflection

What was the problem? It just didn't feel like a cohesive story, and that's because I did something dumb- I never actually introduced any of the characters, so it was never really clear what any of the characters were actually trying to do. I had this idea like I was going to introduce the main character as a "mystery antagonist" at first, to try and show both a prey character's pov and a pred's right from the beginning. Wasn't working, at all... Dumb mistake, but I figured that out at the start of the month. I knew it was going to be a bunch of work to rewrite everything, but I didn't want it to feel like work for you. So I just decided to try and get as much as I could done until the end of January-
On the bright side most of the scenes that I had before still exist, except for one that got expanded on into a whole 'finale'.
I think at this point I have something I can be fairly happy with, and I've gotten into a much better rhythm- Still a big fuck up on my part. I'm sorry it took me so long to work everything out. I'm an amateur, I don't want to pretend like I'm not. What I want is to make things that I would find compelling- and to expand on something I find interesting. To make something good enough it could inspire other artists to try longer narratives for themselves...
That being said- I don't need to reinvent the wheel when I'm already going off the beaten path xd
