Hey, here's a question. Did anyone else have this experience? So that scene in Spider-Woman issue #4, in 197... something - when Spider-Woman is doing battle with Brother Grimm and then she's snagged by Hangman - I always read Hangman as talking to Spider-Woman when talking about all the evil she had done, which confused me when he then talked about saving and protecting her.
It took years for me to realise he was talking to Brother Grimm with all that "Scum! Villain!" stuff. Even knowing that, going back and reading it, it really doesn't feel that way, because the artist seems to forget Brother Grimm was even there once Hangman shows up - or more to the point, once the bondage starts.
Hey, I get it. You think I want to be drawing Hangman now that Jess is back in the ropes?
