Cute movie! Interesting how many assets were reused. I heard of this one, but never watched it. The robots were and odd addition. The rabbit never really makes up with the cat at the end?

2024-09-22 20:49:01 +0000 UTCloved this review again y'all! i still need to make time to check out the other nwave riffs. but as of now i’m really appreciating this series! i must reiterate that i absolutely adore nwave pictures as you can probably already tell— but thunder is forever my ride or die and my absolute fav movie, so it made my day that y’all enjoyed it as much as i do!! it’s so funny because i’ve literally anticipated y’all to talk about this movie for yeeeeears. and i pretty much agree with your inputs. i kinda wish in a way they would’ve flesh out other characters more, like jack and maggie for example. they likely should’ve given them more proper character development considering how they play into the dynamic of things. —but yeah, anyways, random fun facts if you’re interested!— there’s low quality footage of the 4d ride on youtube if you search for it, what’s interesting about it is there’s exclusive unique animation to it that kinda tells a completely different intro than the actual movie, which is pretty sick. there was also a thunder mobile game, which isn’t available anymore, but there’s footage of that you can find. a grimoire for it exists in french, i plan on obtaining one in the future to see what’s up with that. but one of the more interesting things to branch from this movie, is there was actually a spin-off series produced by teamto called "presto! school of magic" back in 2021/2022. the english dub of the show is presumably lost at this moment, but you can find several dubs of the full season, it’s pretty cute! basically follows the animals and lawerence as they teach several students about performing magic. oh!— and the chihuahua’s name is actually kiki, though it’s not stated in the film, but it’s evident in production art— they actually took that name and used it for him in the series as well. so yeah! once again, great work and i hope you guys are having fun! <3
