Gotta love how this what, 6 year old boy talks about super serious things like deciding he wants to be a wolf, not a human, and "what is so good about being human". Umm, like, using your hands to grab things, opposable thumbs... like you are doing now? :D Frankly as someone who read Werewolf the Apocalypse, I think the various tribes have rules against someone going "full wolf" as it is pretty detrimental to your mind, you will essentially devolve into an animal eventually. Btw when they started playing basketball, I hoped they would reference Teen Wolf, but I guess this is anime, they wouldn't know.

Does she not realize that her husband was a WEREwolf and regular wolves are, well, not sentient and cannot talk? I wish we could have had subtitles for the wolf saying "Lady, I have no idea what the hell you are talking about... Wait you actually had sex with a wolf? Umm can I have the warden back? For my protection?"

2022-02-11 07:26:42 +0000 UTCI like to think the reason this guy was in a big city is that all the other rural werewolves were ashamed of this lily-livered brooding poet making them look bad. "You are supposed to chase rabbits and howl at the moon and scare people, not bore them to tears with bad poems!" Btw one of the reasons the kids look uncanny valley and creepy is that they draw them with no fur. Their hair stays on and they grow wolf ears and noses, but they did not add any fur-lines so it feels like they just still have human skin. Brrrr.

And who's to say tragic accidents can't happen? Look, I get you don't like this film, and I'm not trying to convince you otherwise; just stop pretending that you passive bad-faith reading of the film is inherently the correct one. Just a thought.

No. He's been able to play human his entire life, and he was clearly of sound mind enough to go out and do some grocery shopping for his family. What else is there to think but he had to look for a way out?

And man these are some inconsistent werewolves, considering they have no hybrid wolf-man forms. And yeah, Japan sure has some weird ideas about werewolves, just watch Wolf's Rain. Or rather, do not watch it, it is incredibly depressing. As for this movie, it was more of the "whymsical" anime stuff that drives me off the wall, so I never watched this.
