"Beleaguered bemusement occasionally sprinkled with manic insight" would be a good describer for a podcast or show or some shit that explicitly features non-binary folk commenting on pop culture with weird gender obsession. Also, wtf is Pat doing with their hands the whole time? Is that some affectation I'm unfamiliar with? edit: I'm also questioning the eldritch layout of this room, with its floorboards at a 25 degree angle and kitchen pots and pans in what I assume is not a kitchen. Honestly, I'm just doing anything I can do to stop watching It's Pat. edit 2: I'm still watching It's Pat. I'm only 35 minutes into it, but it feels like a lifetime has rotted off the vine, leaving only the faintest of wailing echoes of what I once was edit 3: As a non-binary person myself, watching this movie is like the "gender comedy" equivalent of solving the Lament Configuration edit 4: Day 34 of the arctic expedition to uncover the lost city of R'lyeh. I too have stared into the Pat longer than any one human ought, and now I fear I am become Pat. I already see signs of the "Pinnsmouth look"- unknowable scales forming under flesh what I once considered mine own, the wretched stench of being vaguely androgynous. Yet now the distinction between what I once was and what I now am grows distressingly bleary. Furthermore: Itchy. Tasty.
