Added 2022-01-11 13:20:43 +0000 UTCWell, we've cracked open "the egg", but what on earth is on the inside? Might it be something like a face hugger? Maybe a tentacle beast? Is that where the eye creature came from?
Or might it be some strange combination of the sperminator and tankie? What would you call such a "synthetic" creation? Maybe a "Synthoid"?

Here are some test images of figuring out which style of Synthoid I wanted to use for the next chapter of TBND 3. It took me a little bit to figure out how the materials on this thing worked. There is no Readme, PDF, or documentation with it, but this is how it works:
1) You apply a base skin to the synthoid, which only affects the areas between the white bands.
2) The model comes with both a geo shell and a face mask.
3) You then apply the plastic or metallic bands materials to the geo shell.
4) Finally, the mask has materials for glowing eyes.
You can see these "eye" materials on Thursday, in the next set of images. :)
