Intro and weed stuff, can skip if only care about game info.
Whew! Been a while, sorry for being MIA. After my dog died I was feeling some type of way, as I guess could be expected, and when my bud started budding, well... I don't really like to talk about the process. Not in a legal kind of way, but I feel like if I talk too much about it or how good it's doing, some shit is bound to happen. Last harvest, a few years ago, I had ants/aphids/some kind of insect... poop? literally all over the plants. Stems, leaves, under the leaves... It didn't "ruin" the crop but..., yeah, definitely didn't help it. (If you're wondering what the brown stuff is on the pots and stuff, it's cinnamon. Supposedly ants hate it and keep away from it. Hell if I could tell...) It would be hard to impossible for me to post and not talk about bud so I just didn't post, but I was definitely out there lurking. Heh. This year I said nothing about the buds, which I think came out great btw, and while ants did make their way into the pots... Little mfs are everywhere, but they didn't do shit to the plants so I don't care. It's a shame that I planted so late and missed the peak growing season, but because I did the plants got hit by a little cold air and turned a bit purple which I think is kind of cool. I also already have my seeds for next year's crop, which is great because I don't really work on the game if I'm not medicated and I like to provide my own medicine so no grow means no meds. But enough of that, let's talk about the game, which is definitely still being developed.
Renders
I'll keep it simple. I have not rendered anything since my dog died. I just stopped rendering and it kind of happened. That said, I will resume rendering "soon", however, the vast majority of my focus will be on the core game, as in the MZ side of things, for the foreseeable future. I have been paying attention to the DAZ store to keep an eye on any assets I may need, specifically weed related ones. As always, DAZ let's down. To the point where I'm boycotting buying any new assets from the store. Not that it's hurting them... Me either really cause I'll get what I need . Ahem. That does nothing for the lack of weed related assets though, to which someone posed the question to me "Why not use A.I.?". Honestly, I don't want to. All the ai stuff I've seen looks like trash but he was explaining to me that if I took the time to teach the ai what to draw, or render in my case, it will look a lot better. So at some point I'm going to see if I can teach an ai to render like I would. Gonna be wild, gonna have to feed it a lot of renders so it understands what I want. But if I can get it to spit out something that looks comparable to what I'd render then I'll have a way to get some weed renders/images in the game. Yes, it would only be for that. Adult scenes will still all be hand rendered. That's assuming I even get this to work, whenever I feel like taking the time to work on it.
RPG Maker
Alright, this is where the focus of my work for the past few weeks/months has been. This and solidifying the story so that I can actually put it in the game. I'm still working on the prologue, adding in the new scene (I love how it's coming together) and then I can just copy and past most of the stuff over for Lust. I do need to update some of the info and change a few things though. After that, the prologue will be done and I can get to work on chapter 1, which is what the flow map covers. The map doesn't go into the full details of everything but it gives a good breakdown of what you have to do to proceed through the story. Some parts are linear while other parts will allow you to do things at your leisure. In any event, there's a lot there which means a lot a stuff for me to setup. I need to start working on NPC schedules, setting up the complete photoshoot event, finally working on the porn stuff (which is now directly rolled into the main story), setting up more social stuff (personalities/chat/romance details and date events), setup stuff for side quests/jobs, implement more characters... Lot of work man. I've also started reworking Dope's perks, still deciding if I want other classes to have perks or if I'll just let you upgrade their field skills. Speaking of field skills, I've reworked how they work and planned them out for other classes. Currently only in/succubi, kitsune(vulpinari), vampire, yukki onna skills are worked out. I've got dryad's more or less figured out but I'm still sorting it out. Nymph, sylph, angel, and dwarf skills aren't done/thought out yet. I'll talk more about these later though. I haven't done it yet but I'm also slightly changing out magic is setup. I'll talk more about that later too. Post has gotten kind of long and I've said the main things I want to say. So, in summary...
TLDR: Game is alive. Renders will be on hiatus. Some A.I. might be involved with them though. But still on hiatus. MZ work full steam ahead. Lots of content soon. No renders though. Will post more frequently because I have medicine. Peace and love to all, G'day!
