I think it's one of those hunger issues. When you make round abouts of 40k a month you no longer care if it drops to 30k or even 20k after the 3rd year. I mean no starving author push.

I completely agree with you Jason. I think it’s a valid critique. It would be nice if he had a system like Zogarth. He puts out a chapter every week day at the same time.

Yeah, I don't think anyone is really dogging TFD. It's just frustrating because many of us love the story and look forward to it. Hell, ive bought every book, ebook, and audible release for this IP. Being let down once or twice every week or two eventually takes it's toll. Though I will add a kudos and respectful nod to the fact that he does, indeed, make it right.

lol. You are funny Jason. I totally agree with you. His missing chapters doesn’t have me dropping my subscription as he always makes them up. I am with you in that paying for a service totally entitles you to complain if the provider doesn’t live up to their end. In this case I view him doing the Saturday chapters as living up to his end even if if it’s poor planning as he took off a month to account for the fact that he is migraine prone.

Also, I'm looking at the comments section for the first time in awhile and it makes me a bit sad. Each chapter posting used to have at least twice as much activity. I remember zealously awaiting each chapter last year. Now I barely check once per week because there is always a fair chance of no chapter that day anyway. Cultivation isn't the only thing that slows down from a lack of momentum.

I agree with you, jason. It is a perfectly valid critique. Look at the monthly income numbers from Patreon. While not directly employed by any of us, we are still responsible for a large part of this IP's revenue stream. I unsubbed from Shirtaloon for lack of consistency and the massive decrease in his chapter posting. When you are paying for a service, you have the right to critique the service you are receiving.

Oh god, I am so sorry. I have cluster type migraines that last for weeks. I am fortunate that meds keep them at bay now. I hope you don't have a long lasting one and that you have some meds that help!
