Consider that the bulk of the fight was within the prince's domain. Maybe a bit of a time lag in his domain. I think there are a few other similar issues that could have extended the time as well. Like during the fight he used his bloodline like a weapon, which could have obsorbed energy that way as well. Just a few thoughts

All comes down to setting appropriate expectations for the reader. Wouldn't be to hard to fix either if he just slow rolled the bloodline stuff, he just had a big breakthrough with the Dao Throne, so the bloodline thing could have waited a while. Got us through some of these chapters and then have a void treasure that sets him off just before the fight. And instead of getting saved at the last minute, his bloodline evolution should have ripped the core right out of the guy.

I think he will pop out with fancy new bloodline powers akin to a Super Saiyan transformation. Unfortunately he will be deep in the Kan Tanu heart curse territory and have to sneak around stealing opportunities which puts him in place to effect the war in a massive way and jump to the top of the ladder and the system will grant early access to Utom. Meanwhile Arcaz can chill with his Undead Empire buddies and they will not be able to blame him that he doesn't get the same early access as Zac.

Now this is the way explain why one feels the bloodline being withheld felt dragged on. Originally, zac said he could hold it back an Hour at most yet it felt like the sequence of events would take longer than an hour. Certainly they saved time with the seal carving out a good chunk to the towers top, but still felt off.

So the ship is being sent over enemy lines, (the strongest signal they could find if I remember correctly) how will Zac survive the blast??? while his in the ship awaking his bloodline? and isn't he supposed to be weak right after awakening?

Protection as you say, and the system intends for this challenge, ultom, to be for the younger generation so the young have been put in charge so they can get as much fate as possible with the courts. There are a few chapters where we hear about it, and the young reaver complaining about the elders trying to micromanage him despite him being put in charge for said reason.

The characters and factions in any cultivation or progression novel always fall into substance abuse/obsession, it is a core feature of those stories, even if it isn't mentioned directly. Even when you get the "pure" meditating monk who won't use any treasures, pills, etc., they progress by being insanely focused and obsessed with moving forward. The ONLY people who don't fall onto that might be those "what will be, will be" style monks who progress based on luck and simply exploring the world/normal meditating. Even they are often obsessed with their path, it just doesn't show as much since they are so passive.

FYI, the Imperials has been used to refer to ANY of the Heavens, as they were Imperial Clans (Clans of the Limitless Empire). Yrial and the Seventh heaven are the "Imperials" that were in the last 10-20 chapters. The Parties should be something like Technocrats, Kan'Tanu, Alliance folks (Zac and Acheron Company, the folks he met outside the spatial storm who were "allies"), maybe some others (no one should really know the Muscle Brigade group was there, so I doubt they count). As to which were ousted and which were weakened, I am not sure, as it didn't seem like the Imperial teams and Yrial managed to fully kill any faction or force them out of the tower.

Ylivin is the monarch and former dao guard of yselio. The one that take the seal is yrin, yselios brother and part of the younger generation Imperial from the 7th heaven. So many names starting with y is probably not the best for reading comprehension 😀. Ylivin the monarch is also called uncle by yselio at some point, so they are keeping it in the family.

Very confusing. What rune did Yrin absorb from Yselio? Almost seems like something from the Ultom Courts from the revelation he seemed to receive. Butt I 'thought' Yrin was a Monarch so I've got no idea... As for the 3 groups, 1 is Technocrat, could the other 2 be the Havorak/Dvorak Empire and maybe the Starbeast Alliance? Thought Yselio's beastie would play more of a role than a chew toy for Verun... A lot of suspense around the cosmic vessel by Emily et all. TFD's lack of details is definitely causing a lot of speculation. It'd be cool if it was a Tayn ship, but it just may turn out to be the 'Y' Team's vessel. With all the loose ends, TFD sure has us coming back for more. Makes me wonder if the 'D' and 'T' stand for D!ck Tease! LOL On a side note...I wonder if I could get Chat GPT to read all these chapters and spit out some kind of Wiki where it would summarize all these alliances. Plus, it'd be nice to read all the Karz parts back to back w/o having to go back and search for them.

I agree on most part, but I think problem is, that we can't get sense of timeframe. All of things that happened including the convo + activation of spear and add to that fight only took like 20 min? So original estimate was spot on, just changing few details in conversations and actions might improve everything

My only complaint with how this section played out is how much it was stressed that Zac could barely contain his outbreak, that he almost consumed Emily, etc. But the breakthrough was pushed back narratively so far that it detracted from the sense of urgency that was attempting to be maintained through 5 chapters. Then the fight with the imperial felt like a reverse deus ex machina, just to make sure something went wrong. Then the fight gets actually deus ex machina'd by the person who took the body away. Overall I feel like the sequence and set up of events needs revisiting in editing. Tone down Zac's struggle with holding back hos breakthrough at first, having it build to a point of breaking instead of having it almost be breaking the entire time

If you consider the Kan Tanu weakened by launching a decaying c-grade fortress at em and maybe the 1st Heaven (imperials) had probably one of their top contenders taken out of the inheritance early so they were ousted

Given how many it took to get to the D grade and cutting that down by 100-200, given D grade zac is in a far better position than beginning E grade zac, adding in what he gains from winning ultom and I'll imagine we'll see 2500-3k or so chapters by the novels end. Galau is going to get screwed on the credit side, just like Zac did on his void star shenanigans, remember 125k is the max amount of credit a person can accrue before registering. Galau, Average, and the rest of the gang haven't registered for the war. Emily will probably end up with significantly more credit's from this than Galau just because she isn't capped.

Go outside, touch grass and get a grip with reality. They release one chapter a day, obviously quite a few chapters will be filler. This is how stories work, every chapter can’t be about the main character, there has to be filler for world building. If you can’t handle that, maybe you should wait until the books release. Consuming books released by chapter by chapter isnt for every. And quite honestly you sound like you need some therapy if a book is pissing you off this much.

The only objective reality here is that this story is going to take many more years to complete. You seem to think that it is being unnecessarily dragged out - I don't. What should TFD have cut? The ascent through the tower? The tribulation throne? Meeting up with Average and Co? The fight with Yselio? The breakthrough vision? This chapter with Emily having escaped and the new Seventh Heaven Prince being set up as one of Zac's next antagonists? I think any of these sections could have been actually been expanded upon to improve the story and further flesh out this arc, but we're here now and we'll see Zac's rewards tomorrow or later this week.

The fact of the matter is that this form of content creation - releasing stories chapter by chapter every day - is going to leave readers wanting more, immediately, no matter how fast the story develops or how many cliff hangers there are. There are thousands of stories you could be reading that go much faster and have a much smaller scope, but if that were the case here you wouldn't be getting development into the characters from the Seventh Heaven, or Zac's expanding group of Seal Bearers, or visions explaining the events leading up to the creation of the system. TFD is trying to do something somewhat unique with the massive scope of this story, and there are plenty of us fully on board with it. I completely disagree that the trend of cliff hangers and drawing the story out is a bad thing here. I'm trying to explain that I think the effort put into the world building of this story is exactly what makes it so special.

Lex I did like those things but the terrible pacing had us getting them 50 cliffhangers too late. You KNOW the pacing was better before. It was. Yes the story was always, even in the beginning, a drawn out to a degree, but it was to the right degree. Where the wait was just enough to make the climax even more awesome. Are you talking about what the alliance is giving out or what the system gives out? If the former, He might get some for the clues that allowed them to discover the Technocrats meddling, but it'll be a pittance compared to what zac gets for helping launch that spear. If it's the systems contribution points, it'll likely be zero. Ultimately, arcaz had no part other than helping top zacs energy while zac was the main participant.

If you don't like it, it is what it is but don't bitch and complain about the pacing and still pay for it, because this will most certainly go on till this weeks end, even just finding out what the Technocrats want could take up the next 2 chapters. Besides, the biggest lure of the fortress was the treasures, so obviously, it'll be drawn out with the looting, especially when learning new things like what zac gained from the Throne. As for the cliff hangers, if you haven't gotten used to that by now, mind as well just pack and leave because 1,158 chs in and I doubt they'll go away.

You're out of your mind here, man. This whole arc has been so much faster than the last several it's almost disappointing. This "drawn out stuff" is the whole reason that this story is so good. There's almost no one else on the entire internet producing such an insanely in-depth and large scale creative work right now, and the only reason the payoff is so good at the end is because of the path we took to get there. I actually can't believe that someone is complaining about having to wait for what will end up being a couple weeks or less to get to a major breakthrough when Zac entered this hidden realm less than 25 chapters ago. Were you here for the Twilight Ocean or Orom World? How about arguing in the comment section about whether or not Zac would form his core by chapter 1000 when it ended up taking until 1060, nearly three months later, before he actually got around to it. If you think this arc is too drawn out, you should just unsubscribe and read it in larger chunks or stop following the story all together, because this is what it's all about.

Trying a different approach, even if it it's heavier handed than I would prefer, because I want it work. I care about the premise of the story enougg to want to save it from going in the same direction of other Xanxia/Litrpg stories. I want at least one of these stay good. This one can be. If the author needs more time to right quality posts or bank up chapters, that's way better than this. We know the author can because he already has. The story started that way. We all know it. Can we please go back to that pacing. It was far better than this.

I dunno, hasn't felt drawn out to me. Zac entered the fortress, acquired incredible gains from his soul cores being fully ready to start advancing his cultivation to his body tempering art being right at the threshold of breaking through to the 4th layer to his new void path and now awakening bloodline. Add in the few treasures zac gained before his feast and the gains were simply absurd; tac on a spear literally trained on the strongest kan'Tanu monarch in the zecia sector and it's a major win

The relevant content in the last FIVE chapters could have been condensed to ONE perhaps two, which they would have been the way the author wrote this in the beginning. He doesn't have to let his story get crappy by letting stuff like this creep in. Just let it stay good, damn... At some point you have to, no matter what, start caring about what the audience thinks or this happens.

I think what they mean is that they believe the dreadnought that suddenly appeared is the Buddhist ship with Thea on it. Which I personally disagree with. I’m pretty sure that Buddhist spaceships would be just as obvious about what they are as everything else the sangha touches, covered in Sutras, and statues and emitting enough Dao to feel it all the way across the sector. I think it’s much more likely that it’s the ship with Zack’s troll friend on it

Im sure both Galau and Average get their fair share, but Zac did stand in the way of that Imperial prince, and without him doing that, Galau would never have gotten the chance to fire the spear. But as we saw from the shenanigans in the void star, when a group of people do something big, there is plenty of merit to go around. The plan to remove the Kan`tanu from the void star, or at least the technical aspects of it, were not Zacs plan him being a meathead and all. But without him both taking and giving a beating, the others plan would never have worked.

His cousin says that the elders could potentially bring him back to life down the road based on his deeds. Killing him let's you get the enlightenment opportunity... whereas if the other energies kill him he would only get the opportunity if he was fated for it. He sliced him in half to ensure he'd get it.
