Hi Cheyenne! Hope you are doing well :) I was wondering if you had any advice on how to pick a career? I'm 25 and did some schooling for early childhood education, but discovered teaching isn't the right path for me. I'm currently a barista, which I love, but I do know I want to do more with my life. I am very drawn to creative jobs, possibly owning my own business one day. Possibly a graphic designer, photographer, illustrator/baker etc. I get overwhelmed though because I'm very sensitive, and terrified I'm gonna go down another path that feels like a dead end to me and lose interest like I did with teaching. Thank you for any advice! Sending lots of love and positive vibes <3 ps sorry this is late!

Hi Cheyenne!! I hope you’re having a lovely day! First time question asker here and I’m horrible at keeping things concise but I’ll do my best. 1. I did stage theatre from when I was 8 until I was 18 and aged out of the community theatre where I grew up. The logical next step if I wanted to pursue acting would be to go to college for it but I feel the societal pressure to major in something “marketable” or “useful” for lack of a better term. Did you feel that pressure when you were going to college for acting? And how did you get past it because I’m at a bit of a loss. I stress a lot about spending so much on a degree I might not use or be successful with. 2. I also live in the Seattle area and being cooped up because of covid has me daydreaming of all the places near here I want to visit once everything is over. Do you have any favorite places to visit outside of the city? Or any of your favorite places in the city, I just hate city driving lmao. 3. How do you feel about the fact that it is currently raining in June? I’ve been living here for two years and it’s still weird to me that it rains into the summer months, was the transition from Texas to Washington hard in terms of the weather? Did you struggle with seasonal depression? because I sure do. 4. I actually found your videos recently while researching iPads and procreate as I’m slowly working towards opening my own Etsy shop, what are your favorite procreate brushes? And do you use any preset color palettes or do you just come up with colors as you go? That’s all from me, like I said I hope you’re having a lovely day! Your videos have me more inspired than I have been in months to just try and do art no matter how insecure I am about my abilities. Melissa <3

Hi Chey! Not new to your Patreon but I am new to the orange blossom tier so hello!! My boyfriend and I are both artist and when he commented about a print of yours I have in my room it turned into a deep dive of why I love you and your art so much! You've been a huge inspiration to us both when it comes to mental health issues and being a creative, so thank you so much for all that you do!! I have so many questions for you but I'll try to narrow them down(: 1. Do you have any advice on beginning to turn art into a career? I am still in college and have other career aspirations, but deep down I know I'd much rather do this...only I am much more of a planner than a do-er. Opening a shop just seems so far out of reach sometimes and while I want to get started I'm worried about the logistics of it all (finances, packaging, supplies, building an audience, the list goes on) any general advice on this topic would be lovely! 2. I'm not sure how to phrase this but in light of the situation here in the US and all the ways in which I am losing faith in humanity...how do you keep going? Sometimes it feels as though I want mass change and while I know that doesn't happen overnight it seems sometimes that the battle is never-ending. I guess what I'm asking is how do you cope knowing that the battle is far from won? How do you deal with feeling like the people of power (especially here in the US) are often corrupt and not truly for the people? 3. Again, I'm not sure how to phrase this, but I've been struggling with mental health my whole life (my boyfriend does as well). This actually pushed me towards seeing a counselor, growing a ton, having a few setbacks, and eventually adding on a second major (my first major is American Sign Language Interpreting!) in Psychology to hopefully some day give back to people and be able to walk alongside them in their own mental health journeys. What I want to ask is how do you practice this in everyday life? I have a passion and desire to help others but as a busy working college student it often feels like I'm not qualified or just unable to make an impact. How has discussing your mental health journey online been? What do you think are some ways to spread awareness about the importance of mental health? 4. I would LOVE to move to Seattle some day so I was just curious how you felt about the area? Do you like living there? Are there as many small owned coffee shops as they say lol? Lots and lots of love from Colorado and hope you're taking good care of yourself in these times. Give Sophie a snuggle for me, I have a little black fur ball of my own! Julie <3

Thank-you for the fantastic responses to be questions on the last teatime! I look forward to this one as well! ☺️ 1) Your hair always looks so soft and fluffy. Do you have a particular routine to keep it so healthy looking? 2) I recently saw this very interesting video by ASAP science (I love them) https://youtu.be/5b0Nn9jE5Hc . Which person do you think you are? 3) If you could create a videogame, what would it be about? Would it have a human, animal, or other protagonist (if any)? And why? Thanks so much!

I cant seem to figure about a way to form a question but with it being pride season, I was thinking about how once I asked you what was something that you want to share that no one asks about and you talked about being bi. If you're comfortable, what has your journey with your queer identity been like?

Hi Cheyenne! Had a few questions that I hope you don't mind answering! 1. I'm a seller on Etsy and I just reached a bit over 100 sales (yay!) and was wondering what you think the best way to reach new audiences with your products are? 2. How did you find an audience on social media that feels genuine and not just something that's more of 'Hey, I'm going to plug my products now and I hope you buy them'? I feel like your social media is so genuine and down to earth yet you still sell really well! 3. How do you disconnect from social media on your down time and switch off of "work mode"? I've been finding that since I'm trying to grow my shop and social media presence, it's been really hard to separate "real life" and "work." Thanks so much for your time, you lovely human! :)
