A city of contrasts. From the polite and friendly folk toiling the land or fishing in the icy waters of the Vennes, to the nobles and criminals conspiring in secret halls or alleys looking to increase their power and influence in the city.
Added to the mix is the presence of travelers and adventurers preparing for their journey across the Ashes of Kurn—a region filled with treasures and relics—, stocking up on weapons, armor, and items that are essential for the perilous journey.
Growing in prestige, Mennesker attracts people from all corners of the empire looking to improve their lot. “Anything is possible in Mennesker” is a saying repeated by folk who have made a living—or a fortune—in the city.
Scheming nobility, foreign adventurers, dangerous criminals, anything is possible in this rapidly expanding place.
