Pre-Supported & Merchant Tier Changes
Added 2020-07-05 20:55:03 +0000 UTCGuys, as you all know, we're looking to get rid of the pre-supported tier and integrate those models into all of our Tiers.
We think that excellent quality pre-supported models are very important, that's why we're taking our time to do this right. We will keep the same quality while still trying to improve, but at a lower cost for you.
So, once we reach 2050 Patrons, the Pre-Supported Tier will disappear.
Also, when we hit that 2050 Patrons milestone, the Merchant Tier will lower its price. We've been getting a lot of feedback from our Merchants and in due to these weird times we live in we feel that a change is needed to help our Merchants run sustainable businesses.
After the change, tiers will look like this:
HERO TIER $12.99 - Includes Pre-Supported Models
MERCHANT TIER $ 21.99 - Includes Pre-Supported Models & Commercial License
VERY IMPORTANT FOR PRE-SUPPORTED AND MERCHANT PATRONS: you need to manually make the jump to the Hero Tier and new Merchant Tier when we reach this goal, we can not change your Tier Manually, Patreon does not allow us to do that. If you do not mannually do it, Patreon will keep charging the old prices. We can not disable a Tier if there are Patrons in it, so there's nothing we can do if you do not manually change tiers.
The previous milestone was 2200, but due to COVID, this change needs to happen sooner. That's why we decided to change it to 2050, wich is not very far away. We expect to reach that goal probably 3-5 weeks from now.
We will make another post once we reach that goal so that everyone that needs to change Tier has time to do so.

how long will the new merchant tier price stay in effect? Is this likely a permanent price change or a 3-6 month thing and then back up in price?

So, would we be able to download supported kobolds when we were Patreons of the unsupported tier when these were a release. That is actually a question I have been asking myself, because my introductory drug were the kobolds, but I didn't get them supported back then. And I'd really like to have them supported now.

I think especially since CnP added open lock tiles (no one bought any yet haha) these sets are much more appealing. Add throw back folder that is great for new comers, the value is much higher. Even count of single models/poses is higher and also modular... I think it's just a matter of time and maybe more marketing? I currently have more sale from CnP models than AG and I prefer to print these - more challenging to support sometimes but I think the number of small details is higher and closer to Raging Heroes models style that I prefer.

2020-07-06 02:27:38 +0000 UTCAs long as we are discussing the price of your Patreon I think it is obvious to point out that AG and TF both charge $10 and both have more than 6000 backers do the math that is a minimum of $60,000 a month I believe your volume and quality are just as good as theirs is so the only thing holding you all back is your higher price. more people more money it's that simple my same math has you all making maybe $26,000 still nice but your never gonna get their at the higher price I love you guys and am not leaving but I think you would do so much better at $10 just saying. Yes it might take a few months but it will happen you guys are that good. :)

2020-07-06 00:18:35 +0000 UTCAbout our price being higher than other Patreons: I don't necessarily feel that it is a competition for the lowest price, it's about giving enough value for what we're charging. I'm confident to say that we provide way more files than almost everyone else out there every month, and that's the reason behind the higher price. I feel that the ~$3 difference is justified by the number of models we put out every month. For that reason, I think that the per model price is even lower than some others out there. Anyway, as I said, it's not a competition to see who can charge less and put out more models, we'll try to keep improving the quality while keeping up with quantity every month. That said, I want to thank you for the feedback, Nicholas. We really appreciate these kinds of comments and do take them into careful consideration. Hopefully, we'll hit the 2050 goal before the end of the month.

2020-07-05 23:33:25 +0000 UTCI'm glad to hear about the goal adjustment and hope that it gets met--but also will be leaving at the end of this month if the price continues at 15.99 for the presupported tier. I'm one of the long time supporters that left the $10 pricing to back it. I'm on 11 other patreons and they offer plenty of content and all include presupports and even 12.99 is significantly more expensive than any of them. I'm trying to offer some constructive feedback here so that it isn't just a random comment in an exit survey. You guys do great work but I hope you make your pricing decisions based on your competition and leave the supporter goals to fun things like bonus models.
