Goodbye Pre-Supported Tier! (Announcement)

Hello guys! I hope you're doing fine. I've got awesome news for you today!

We've been thinking a lot about this and finally decided that once we reach 2200 Patrons Pre-Supported Files will be included in the Hero Tier. The reason why we have not done it yet is that we take this very seriously, and if we're going to release pre-supported files we want them to be the pre-supported files you deserve.

Why 2200 Patrons? The reason is that that number will put us in a place where we'll be able to cover all the expenses that pre-supporting brings to give you the best service possible.

I've seen other creators talk about how 'easy' it is to pre-support models. But, just to let you know, we hand place all supports to make sure they are PERFECT. 

We pre-support for resin and FDM, test-print EVERYTHING 2 to 3 times, using different printers and resins (lots of resin) to make sure you are not losing any time nor materials with failed prints.

So far, less than 10% of you have had issues with pre-supported files. To that % of people, we've given all the necessary support and personalized help to make sure their printers (FDM & Resin) are dialed in. 

Yeesik and Velkhan have done an extraordinary job at this, we've received several messages of people letting us know how much they value this part of the pre-supported service.

Our end goal is that you do not have to worry about technical issues. We want to provide files that can be loaded into the slicer and printed in less than 3 minutes.

So just to wrap up, that is the reason why we had to charge for the new tier related to pre-supporting models in the first place. These past weeks have been amazing in terms of growth, and we feel comfortable saying that we'll hit the 2200 Patrons goal in about 6 to 8 more weeks.

Once we hit that goal, we'll make another post about this with instructions on how to go back to the Hero Tier (you'll have to do it manually), because even when the Pre-Supported tier will no longer be public, current subscribers need to manually jump back in tiers.
