On your comment on moving away from reviewing books, I thought of Tina Fey’s “I don’t think so honey” take on the Las Culturistas podcast last year. Also - as a Say Anything fan, so glad to see others in the wild that get how great this movie is.

What I would give to have learned about Beast Games from this video 😂 you always have such poignant and relevant things to dig into. I too work in the weird tech hole where AI is becoming so centered in the conversation and I have really resonated with a lot of the content you’ve shared around the topic! Journalers unite 📖 I too keep a physical log of many things. I find it to be a better way sometimes to get everything in line in my brain by getting everything in line outside of my brain. For some reason, computer screens just don’t address that. I will be adding “a lacroix of” to my lexicon immediately 😌

I also recently found Charlie Adhara and the way I INHALED that series…totally agree with you about Cooper. He starts to work on himself eventually and it does help though. The low self-esteem character is such a trope but I feel Adhara gives him enough depth and backstory that it feels like less of one, especially once he starts to understand Park more and that side of the story is clearer. Also a huge fan of GHOSTS but I liked both the writing and the story. War should never be romanticized but there is less than nothing to romanticize about WWI and I feel like Arden reflects that really well. Always enjoy your videos and recs! Happy spring.
