for the first one id say a combinations of like early 2010s sort of edgy sharp ui design especially based on ds titles like pokemon black/white and smt devil survivor, otherwise the sort of photorealism blended with the pixel art is loosely inspired by omoris battle backgrounds and the fact that i really like when games have 2d characters in photorealistic 3d settings (like subway midnight or in a lesser sense paper mario or wtvr) second one i WAS working on something like that within the game itself but it didnt really go into a ton of detail at least regarding backgrounds and personality and stuff, i really probably should work on that soon because it is kind of striking me theres not a lot to go on right now besides designs and like vibes,, maybe ill put something together tonight

Two questions, 1. What inspired the game’s art direction, because it looks so good. 2. Are there like any brief profiles or descriptions on the 12 characters?

BromeTheHealer

basically in short a cult kidnaps random groups of people and pits them against each other in an attempt to appease an ancient deity that threatens to destroy the world otherwise and most of the narrative is about how these average people plucked off the street either fight back against the cult and try to somehow survive even when theyre repeatedly told its impossible or how theyre crushed under the stress of the situation and turn against each other its hard to say how long itll be w where its at now but i think if you take your time with it a full playthrough could take about maybe 15 hours which i think is pretty standard for an rpgmaker game,.. you could theoretically get way more playtime out of it but honestly i dont really expect most people to do 12 different playthroughs just to see all the characters perspectives and differences and stuff
