These older photos of Rachel when she had very short hair are some of her very very best. I don’t think i have ever seen Rachel looking so beautiful then when she cut her hair... stunning! 🔥😍

Cdrive

Wow you are so beautiful and perfect Rachel!

Trevor Silverfox

We need more Abby or the extras from last shoot. Thanks

Joe Funk

I think some people just don’t get it.😒 I don’t think your misogynistic demands are welcome or appreciated by Rachel or the Nirvana team. Just chill.

Brad Nichol

I just want to see more of Rachel. Full nude from the front

Finding Freedom - Issue 18 Last week Rachel posted on Instagram that she has been searching for freedom by changing her external environment, but she realized it starts from the feeling within. It’s very wise and true, but how does one get there? I believe there are 3 components of freedom. The “Freedom from” – the absence of constraints, the “Freedom to” – freedom to do what we want, and a higher level the “Freedom to be” – this is a deeper, emotional, inner freedom that is most important and what is Rachel’s realization. Freedom is a state of mind rather than a specific condition of existence. It is truly personal and different for each person. It begins with your thoughts. First, one needs to figure out what their definition of freedom is or what one is seeking. Awareness of yourself and your situation is key. If you don’t know who you are or what you want then you will be stuck here. The second step is knowing your needs and purpose of this freedom. If you understand these reasons and needs, it will be easier to achieve your goal. The last step is to plan and act it out. Is there anything in your way or things to remove in your life? Do you need to go back to school, change your job, start your own business, or get rid of a toxic relationship? For me, my freedom was not being employed by the hospital so that I can be my own boss without outside input. It also gave me an independent voice by not acting as a corporate lackey. Is it more work to handle the business side of medicine? Yes, but the freedom is worth it! If I worked in that employed system, it would probably eat away at my soul and self-esteem. With regards to the Freedom to BE, I believe it involves a lot of the topics I have discussed before. Self-realization, self-love, positivity, gratitude, being open to change, setting boundaries are all important to achieve or work towards in order to be in a wellness state so that one can get into the freedom state of mind. Once in this consciousness, one can pick and choose how to interact with some of the external noise and world. For me, I realize I need to stop overthinking, being self-critical, and living more in the present and not the past.

Hey Rachel and the Nirvana team. A model i would highly suggest bringing back to Nirvana is Alexis Rupp. You and her looked incredible together back in the Tahoe issue and videos. Would be amazing to have her back for future vlogs. Just a thought. Thank you guys for the amazing content up until now :)

Hi KJ, we are working hard to answer everyone and of course get you guys the best models possible. I’d even love to do a Q&A live with you guys if that is something you guys are interested in. It’s not as easy as you would think to get the models to work with any magazines playboy does have the name and history. We are working hard to build that global presence and we have a solid plan in place. As we are juggling photos, videos, planning, executing, editing and more , We are trying our best to create this beautiful experience for you guys. I’d love to be in touch with you, Brad, and any readers via a live chat if that helps gives you guys an insight into our journey. sending love from our team in Capri shooting for the next issue! Rachel The Buzz cut ROCKS!! Seeing you with that doo gets my Italian blood running hot

Abby is beautiful and has a primal sexuality about her that was brought out well especially in the B&W. The palm tree photos with Luca were magical especially with the side golden hour light! The old WTVR photos of Rachel with her shaved head just reminds me how beautiful she is and the confidence to pull it off! 💕💕

Marvelous. I do miss Rach. I think that a digital mag that artistically does full nudity like Pla**oy will continue to thrive. The photographers are true artists and Rach was the perfect medium. Find other models also willing to do so. It’s a bit perplexing that Nirvana has featured models that have done this in other places but then don’t in Nirvana. Also maybe respond to emails/suggestions, both here and DMs. Or at least “like” them or acknowledge them in some way.

KJ

Or, to put it another way, the difference between the two used to be 1) Rachel and 2) frontal nudity. Now those differences seem to be gone, so…

Bartolo

Great photography, and gorgeous girls, but…. Without Rachel (yes, I know she’s in there as part of the year in review) and without full frontal nudity, I’m not sure that there’s a difference between “Nirvana” and “Nirvana XO”.
