So it's finally here! Issue 7 - shot in my home state of Washington! I am sooo stoked on this issue and being able to bring you guys to my home town. I also brought my friend Alexis Bumgarner with me. Rob did a beautiful job on the images. Alvin's video will be up next week as well!

Issue 7 Law of Giving/Sharing and Dharma – Rachel lists out the descriptions of the 7 Spiritual Principles. She brings them into the reader’s consciousness and some of these principles, she has already broached in previous issues. Rachel has an obvious gift of internal and external beauty and we all benefit by her sharing it. I believe she and the Nirvana team have put out remarkable content. Yes, we do pay for a subscription but there has to be a value placed to their content. If it is coming from the right place, it will be rewarded. I also believe it is our duty to happily accept this gift to give pleasure to the giver (Rachel and the Nirvana team). They, like any creative or person are energized by positive reinforcement. I am lucky because I have a career which is challenging and fulfilling and helps save and change people’s lives. I give my skills, expertise, and time to help people get better. I am also well paid for it. I’m not sure if it my true Dharma, but it is what I do now. Sometimes I wish I could be free and travel, and envious of Alvin and Rob. I enjoy photography as well and recently started sharing pictures to friends on Instagram. I was afraid to post them in the past because I was worried the intent would be viewed the wrong way. But, I realized this sharing can help create a closeness and community by understanding who we really are. It has also helped me appreciate what I have and what I have created. I believe we all have gifts that we can give and share. This dynamic exchange, and some of the other Laws can help us create the life story we want. These laws may in a way be esoteric, but taken into one’s consciousness, they can help make us into better people.
