Winger as you know is one of my favorite bands. I made this song as a birthday present for Paul Taylor, the author of this song and the musician of the Winger band.

Pre story: I made couple of Winger's covers before, you can find it on my channel. It was in 2015. Then I sent it to Kip Winger himself and Paul Taylor, the author and their keyboard player and guitar player. And they liked it. I became friends with Paul. One year later Paul was playing with Tom Keifer, Cinderella and they were touring. They came to Moscow and we met him and other guy Mike at the hotel and showed them around the center of Moscow. Next day we visited their show. Dreaming about working with Paul, he's the one who also wrote my favourite rock ballad - Without the night. Since then we write each other on Facebook sometimes. He wrote a very nice review for my green card visa explaining my music abilities.

On 1 of June it is my Bday so he wrote me as usual, and his Bday is on the 4th of June, I wrote him too. But he didn't know we prepare this song, and it wasn't ready yet. Just now I finished working on it and sent him 15 mins ago, he said he is very flattered and he loved it very much. My hands were shaking like before the exam ahahahahh.

So another very good news. This instrumental was recorded by several great musicians from Turkey. The guitar player wrote me many times offering me some of their help, I was saying No all the time, because I thought it would slow down my work, these past months has been crazy for me in terms of time and location. I'm still a new immigrant.

But they insisted and we gave it a try. These guys are pro, they love same music as me and you do! And just a week ago I wrote them - let's do Winger's Miles Away for Paul's Bday very fast! So everyone was in a rush - but everyone did a great job. My brother Oleg recorded keyboards! And I recorded Pad Strings. It sounds like real meat.
