And I had no idea Janis did a cover on this one. I thought it was her song! I already recorded this one for one other channel, not for mine, but I don't like it very much. So I really wanted to make this one for my own portfolio.
As you can see - the background changed. At that moment we were in Florida, Clearwater, in a hotel. I was invited to perform on Christmas parties with my long time friends. But to get to the actual hotel we had to stay in another hotel for "quarantine time", to make sure we are not sick, to be able to move to that first hotel to perform. Because everyone who is coming from another place - they have to get covid tests and stay in quarantine for two weeks. We didn't go out of this hotel for 2 weeks, we were only walking in a garden outside, that is only for people in quarantine, we had to wear masks and gloves outside our room.
Strange times, but I loved to stay in same place and have rest physically. I needed those 2 weeks to relax and sleep and eat to restore energy. Even though I filmed 15 videos for both channels and recorded songs, I still was trying not to overwork. I didn't cook or clean, or do grosseries, or do many other things that I usually do around the house. So that helped!
