PATREON TAX FEES ๐จ ๐please read๐
Added 2020-05-29 18:41:23 +0000 UTCGuys, I need to let you all know that PATREON is required by law to aply tax "fees" [I'm not sure if "fee" is the right word] starting on July 1st.
I believe it's a matter of cents on each tier, mainly for the lower tiers, but just in case, I put $7 tiers and up under a label called " general support", that , in some countries [ the US, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Norway, and Switzerland ] will count as non taxable.
What does "General Support" means? : It means that you pledge/support my work either you receive a benefit or not. That's why it may not account as taxable in your country.
Patreon will email you about this on June 1st, definitelly explaining it better than me. But if you have doubts or questions about this you can message/email me and I'll do my best to help you out ๐
