Hi!
Wow, there’s so many of you here! Off the top, thank you so much for your continued support. Holy shit I never imagined folks would pay for my art. I appreciate everyone who has subscribed in the past and everyone who is still subscribed, even after this art drought. Gabe, Dragon, Flea, River, Emily, AJ and others I’m forgetting–y’all are amazing. I’d take a bullet for you gays.
So, it’s been a rough year…No doubt, it’s been challenging for everybody at least since 2020. For me, for full transparency, I’ve been struggling in a lot of ways–severe depression, a new public-facing job with no shortage of Karens and stabbings and the general chaos the public brings, and a breakup that took a lot out of me (not Jaq, don’t worry he’ll always be my ride or die). All this has left me pretty uninspired when it comes time to sit down and draw. I’ve mostly just been drawing for friends, cuz that’s an easy and satisfying way to share joy in these trying times.
All that said, time and therapy and more time is doing wonders. I’m itching to dust off the cobwebs and breathe some life back into this space and our discord community. I have a catradora smut comic planned, and a wholesome monster girlfriends mini comic planned. I’ll also be sticking to this schedule:
- Sunday evening art stream at 5pm PST
- Regular sketch posts on Thursdays
I’ll also be adding a questions/tutorials channel to the server, for folks who want to ask questions or see timelapses. I love hearing from you guys, so if you have any suggestions for the server, feel free to comment or message me on discord.
