Edit: As a writer, I've always found the colorful descriptions used for sexual scenes in romance novels (I don't have any interest at all in the genre, but I have a few books with strong romantic subplots)... interesting, to say the least. This story, combined with an anthropomorphized COVID-19 virus, was another level.
