New tier?
Added 2020-08-11 19:28:51 +0000 UTCOKAY! HI WELCOME THERE ARE A Lot MORE OF YOU THIS MONTH.
Some of you have mentioned that you would like to be apart of the sold-out $8 tier or that would join a $10 tier if it were available. I have to lock the $8 tier because of the verbal shoutouts. If I have too many of them then I have to speed up the audio to fit the allotted 20 sec end screen time from youtube and that's not fair to anyone if they can't even distinguish their names. Long term I am looking at other options instead of the verbal shout out, like those names being listed bigger and on a rolling screen at the end of the video pre outro clip and then also on the Patreon list at the end. But this is what we are working with for now.
However, if I were to do a $10 tier, what would you like that warrants that donation without a
verbal shoutout? The only thing I can think of is a monthly email from me and or a Swell Simp card which I'm going to be selling soon on my Depop.

Something deliberately unimpressive so people know that it isn't really an incentive so much as a way to support you.

2020-08-14 03:27:44 +0000 UTCI'm sure most people here wouldn't mind if you spread the verbal shout outs out a bit. Instead of saying every name in every video. Still show all the names in every video, but only say the names in batches of 20 until you get through the whole list. You could say something "today's shout outs go to a, b, c.". So you still get your shout out every few weeks, depending on how many videos you put out. Maybe it's something you could run a poll on with some suggestions for current $8 tier people.
2020-08-12 19:09:31 +0000 UTCMaybe move the verbal to the $10+ tier, but continue listing all names at the end. You could also add some kind of fun "random drawing" for those above a certain level, and if one or two people get selected, they then get a special shoutout with some little blurb they send to you for reading. Like, "Just wanna give a shoutout to this video's winners, John A. and Mary P. John wants me to say 'The Eagle strikes at midnight' and Mary wants me to say 'Get out of here, you stupid, dumb animal'." Then just cycle through to avoid repeats.

2020-08-11 23:27:58 +0000 UTCI second this. I'm on a couple YT Creator Discords, and they're a lot of fun, plus it's a nice way to find potential content/discuss said content in preparation for upcoming videos.
