Elephants & Wolves

As you know i've been wanting to learn the technology to make reaction videos, so far I haven't figured it out, so a visit from patron Matt, this was the video that was created!

Inspired by Matt who suggested reading from one of my favourite books rather than reacting from a video...

It's quite vulnerable to share this, because like it talks about in this book, it can be challenging for women to speak our truth.

We are just trying new stuff out, and my words for this year are collaborate and delegate, something I really need to keep making content regularly, but seems to be the bit I find hard to do eg find a team.

Back in the Surprise Me content, it only happened because patron Michael came up with the idea, and I had my lovely assistant Meaghan, (who is now in Brazil)

I wonder if any of this video resonates with you, (or maybe you think I'm just nuts!)and I also recommend this book even for men, to know women, or your woman better...

I mention a Dolly parton song, you can hear it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_-YbWHs6DE

Then I randomly go off onto Tarot!!!! Suze and her tangents!!! I hope you can follow.

Essentially I'm talking about transitioning into a new world.

I do feel the planets aligning on the 25th January is a significant

Thanks to matt for coming up with the idea, and helping with the camera

Next video on its way is the back to the past bath vlog!

Tell me how your Sunday is going!

Thanks for taking the time to reflect on the material that held a cord with you. I would suggest though that its not time to start failing, but start taking action, cos who knows whether it will be a fail or a success. Oprah apparently says there are no such things as mistakes, only lessons

This Is Suze

Hey Suze, love the new style of vlog, something different and refreshing and thought provoking, and I think going back through the book and reading some of the things that you underlined years ago is a good way of reflecting how you were feeling and thinking at that stage of life. It's something that we don't do often enough and become set in out ways, similar to how you underlined that learning more from failure than you do from success, and I guess that's right in a lot of things in life from practical things like learning new skills and even relationships (which i will come back to in a bit when the elephant enters the room) I mean we all get better at things the more time we devote and the more care and pride we put into what matters most. But I think the point that gave me the most thought is what if we think we have succeeded at something on the first attempt, do we stop trying to improve at that point, is the acceptance of that "success" is good enough or the not knowing that it could be better because you didn't fail so didn't need to change, and it was acceptable. I guess this kind of tied in with the way a mahout controls the life of an elephant from early stages of its life, for that elephant this is the norm and all it's ever know, if it doesn't conform it gets beaten and shackled so it can't escape and over time it accepts this way of life, just like lots of people that have been in controlling relationships (I speak from experience) it's the small, sometimes imperceptible controlling traits over periods of time that keep us in check and we forget who we are and have become until one day you realise what you are, and that inner strength comes back and you become that powerful entity that can't be controlled by others any more and finally break free. I know i used to be an elephant, and i think it's time to start failing in order to learn again.
